Joshua Ayoson holds a PhD in Cancer Biology (2025) from the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research in affiliation with the University of Giessen, Germany, a Master of Science in Precision Medicine (2020) from the University of Freiburg–Hochschule Furtwangen, Germany, and a Medicine degree (MD)  (2017) from the Rostov State Medical University, Russia. He is currently a Senior Scientist in the Department of Internal Medicine at Kantonsspital Baden (KSB), Baden, Switzerland. His research focuses on cancer survivorship, using epidemiological approaches and real-world health data to investigate the long-term health consequences of cancer and its treatment, identify prognostic factors, and advance evidence-informed, risk-stratified survivorship care.
