Short Biography

Stefania Iaquinto is a postdoctoral researcher at the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute (EBPI), University of Zurich. Her current research includes projects within the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Registry (SMSR) on the epidemiology of multiple sclerosis in Switzerland, alongside health services research on healthcare delivery in Switzerland.

She holds a master’s degree in Biostatistics from the University of Zurich (2022) and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Zurich (2026), completed within the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Registry (SMSR) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Viktor von Wyl. Her doctoral research focused on the long-term monitoring of multiple sclerosis epidemiology and healthcare in Switzerland, including prevalence, incidence, and longitudinal changes in disease-modifying therapy use.
