Vasileios Nittas joined the PhD program in Epidemiology and Biostatics in September 2017. He received his BSc in Public Health from the University of Maastricht and completed his MSc in Evidence-Based Policy Evaluation at the University of Oxford. His previous work has focused on the validation of a digital asthma prediction tool, the regional evaluation of electronic dengue surveillance in India and the equity effects of m-Health interventions. His doctoral research, supervised by Prof. Dr. Milo Puhan and Dr. Margot Mütsch, focuses on digital health solutions for chronic disease prevention.
