Lucas Bachmann, Professor

Lucas Bachmann is an experienced clinical researcher with a focus on diagnostic and prognostic research methodology, real-world data studies, and digital health. In his teaching at the University of Zurich and at institutions abroad, he teaches research methodology, scientific writing, and decision making under uncertainty. He studied and received his doctorate in medicine (M.D.) at the University of Zurich and in epidemiology and biostatistics (Ph.D.) at the University of Amsterdam. In 2010, he was awarded the titular professorship at the University of Zurich. In addition to his research and teaching activities, he is an entrepreneur and founder of several start-ups in the field of digital health.
