I am a PhD student in biostatistics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Torsten Hothorn. We are interested in extending transformation models, a framework that unifies generalized regression techniques, to various statistical appli-cations. In particular, we are interested in the analysis of receiver operating characteristic curves for evaluation of diagnostic medical tests as well as estimation of heterogeneous treatment effects for personalized medicine.
Previously, I completed a master’s degree in computational biology and bioinformatics at ETH Zurich. For my master’s thesis, I worked with Dr. Jessica Young from Harvard University on estimating the effects of stochastic dynamic treatment interventions for HIV prevention. Outside of statistics, I enjoy hiking, climbing and, mountaineering.
