Geriatric Cancer Epidemiology

Due to population ageing, the number of older cancer patients has increased and is expected to increase further. With still limited evidence from RCTs, observational data could serve as an alternative data source for this age group. Our research group mainly focuses on observational research in geriatric oncology by studying specific tumor types with (prospective) cohort and registry data, and epidemiological and methodological studies to address challenges in observational research.
