Cochrane Public Health Europe

As Cochrane Public Health Europe satellite, our overall aim is to support the use
of public health evidence, as e.g. provided by Cochrane Public Health, by public
health decision makers. The production and publication of systematic reviews has significantly increased over the past years. The availability of systematic reviews, however, does not ensure that public health decision makers know of them, use and understand them. Several factors were identified that influence the use of evidence in policymaking. For example, decision makers would benefit from information that was made available for them and is presented in an appropriate way and format. We aim to contribute to fill this gap with our initiative.
