Immunity & Vaccines

Our research combines individual and population-level methods to study the epidemiology of vaccine-mediated protection. We coordinate the Swiss National Vaccination Coverage Survey, assessing vaccine uptake in children ages 2, 8, and 16 years, and study adult vaccination coverage and determinants of vaccination. We use computational methods to examine vaccine hesitancy and laboratory-based approaches to explore factors affecting immunity to infectious diseases including tick-borne encephalitis.
