«Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung Kanton Zürich» promotes the health of the citizens in the canton of Zurich.

We implement a wide range of projects to promote mental and physical health. Furthermore, we coordinate addiction prevention in the canton of Zurich and inform the population with brochures, websites, campaigns and events. We collaborate with various specialized professional groups, with municipalities, schools, cantonal and national institutions.
We work on behalf of the Department of Health in the Canton of Zurich and are organizationally affiliated with the Institute for Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention (EBPI).

The department is headed by Sibylle Brunner.
