Andrea Farnham is an epidemiologist specializing in methods innovation in migration research. She is interested in using digital data to track population movement and health. Her PhD research was based on the TOURIST study at the EBPI, one of the first studies using a mobile phone application to track travelers during their trips. She currently supports the ITIT Travel Health Project at the EBPI. Her other projects include MIGRANT(h), MIGRAtioN Tracking and Health, based at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in Basel.
